Niall Hanna is an Investment Manager and Insolvency & Dispute Resolution specialist in LCM’s Singapore office

Niall is an English and Cayman Islands-qualified lawyer with over 15 years of expertise working in Insolvency and Dispute Resolution: focusing on complex cross-border corporate insolvencies and distressed situations, and high value financial disputes. He has acted on a broad range of matters – representing corporate clients; insolvency practitioners; shareholders; bondholders; creditors; directors; ad hoc and liquidation committees; service providers; individuals and other stakeholders. Given his specialism in corporate insolvency and distressed situations Niall has had a lot of exposure to situations where litigation financing has made, or would make, the difference between unlocking value for stakeholders and abandoning valuable assets

His practice also includes general dispute resolution and he has substantial experience litigating a broad range of commercial disputes: including investor actions; bondholder disputes; directors’ duties claims; valuation disputes; IP claims; enforcement actions; fraud, asset recovery and tracing claims and various other claims.

His experience of the commercial and legal issues that arise during the life of contentious situations allows him to approach each case with clarity, creativity, and speed.

Prior to joining LCM, Niall was a Partner in the Insolvency & Dispute Resolution group at Walkers in the Cayman Islands and before that he worked in the Restructuring team for Eversheds in London.
